Our wicker furniture is painted here in Maine to order in 40 colors with over 200 seat cushion fabric choices - for indoor use.

We borrow from some of the great wicker design ideas of the mid 20th century to create the vintage appeal and unique character found in older summer homes, inns and resorts. Simple weaving patterns and linear construction styles are most attractive, especially when spiced with one of zesty colors choices.

40 Color Choices
Our special waterborne Maine Cottage 100% aliphatic urethane paint is applied to wicker by spraying to deliver a superior finish for water-resistance, depth and vibrancy of color, elasticity, and chip-resistance. All without releasing nasty VOCs into the atmosphere. It is also highly UV-resistant.

Indoor Use is Best
Our wicker and rattan furniture is intended for indoor use only. For outdoor use, we suggest our colorful All Weather Wicker. It is made of weatherproof, UV-resistant, synthetic fibers wrapped on a rustproof aluminum frame.

Care - seat cushions
• While all fabric will fade over time, direct sunlight may dramatically fade dark colors. Avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight.
• Always blot spills immediately with a clean, dry white cloth.
• Annual professional cleaning is recommended for general upholstery care.
• Over time, cushions will compress. Fluff and rotate cushions once or twice a month to keep them looking fresh and to help them wear evenly.
• Always pre-test cleaning solutions on a small, inconspicuous area before proceeding.

Measure Your Room
Before choosing furniture, we'll consider the layout of the room and your home and discuss the basic elements, including doors, windows, closets, fireplaces and stoves, heating vents and electrical outlets. We'll discuss lighting and rugs too. Next, we'll guide you in measuring the perimeter of the room and come up with a simple floor plan to plot your furniture placement.

How to Measure for Delivery
Once you've chosen the furniture you like, it's critical that it can be delivered through all the entries, elevators and stairs of your residence. We want to make sure there are no surprises on delivery day.

A Simple Guide to a Successful Home Delivery
1. Measure the height and width of your exterior and interior doorways, including elevator doors.
2. Use our furniture measurements to determine whether a piece can go straight through a doorway or brought in at an angle or on end.
3. Make sure there's a clear path in front of and beyond each doorway, including any fixtures, decorative mouldings, interior walls, ceiling heights, stairs and banisters that may block easy manuvering once the furniture is inside.

Furniture can be brought straight in if the back height or depth of the piece is less than the width of each door, entry, hall or stairs - all pathways, stairs and halls-including any turns-are openor wide enough for the piece.

Furniture can be brought in at an angle if the depth of a piece is less than the width of the doorway, and the amount of unobstructed clearance for all doors, stairs and halls is adequate to allow for a piece to clear it.

Furniture can be brought in on its end if there's anything in the way on either side of the doors to prevent it from being brought straight in, the width of the piece will clear the height of the door when the piece is on end - the diagonal depth will clear the width of the door - once inside, a piece will clear all widths and ceiling heights of all halls and stairs including turns.
