Furniture
Maine Cottage furniture is custom made and finished to your order. Returns or exchanges of furniture are limited to transit damage or manufacturer defect only. In the event of damage to your furniture that occurs in transit, or if you discover any defect in the furniture manufacture, please contact our Customer Service office within 7 days (888) 859.5522. Upon return, the furniture will be inspected. In certain circumstances, a usage or restocking fee may apply. Due to the custom nature of our furniture, we do not accept cancellations or changes on orders once they are confirmed.

Mattresses, Box Springs and Bunkie Boards
All sales of mattresses, box springs and bunkie boards are final and may not be returned or exchanged.

Accessories
Maine Cottage happily accepts returns and exchanges of non-furniture items purchased online or at our three company stores in Yarmouth, Maine, Charleston, South Carolina and West Palm Beach, Florida. If you are not satisfied, we will gladly provide a merchandise refund for your order within 30 days of receipt. After 30 days, Maine Cottage will replace or refund your non-furniture items against manufacturer defects for up to one year. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

How to make a Return or Exchange - Accessories
We enclose a return form in every mail order package. If you are mailing an item to us, please take a minute to fill out this form to tell us if you want an exchange, credit or refund. If you do not have the return form, include a note with your name, return address, daytime phone number and/or email address, what you are sending in and why, and what you would like to have happen. Please be sure to ship the package with a carrier that can provide tracking and insurance and know that you are responsible for all shipping costs for returned merchandise.

Furniture Repairs
Please contact our Customer Service office if you need touch-up paint, repairs or other furniture adjustments. We may be able to guide you over the phone. If not, then we will can help you locate a furniture medic in your area. Our Customer Service office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm EST, (888) 859.5522

Tax on Orders
Maine Cottage collects and remits all required sales tax in the states where we have stores: Maine, South Carolina and Florida.
