Maine Cottage offers the best direct-to-home long-distance “White Glove” furniture deliveries within the continental U.S. via Clark & Reid Fine Furniture Services. "White Glove" is a delivery service experience unlike most others in the furniture business. "White Glove" service provides a friendly, polite, two-man professional crew to unpack, assemble and adjust as required, room placement, and remove all packaging materials and boxes. We like to say "White Glove" is the "valet service" of furniture delivery.


Cost of "White Glove" Furniture Home Delivery
Our "White Glove" home delivery service matches the exceptional quality of our products and service experience. We will work with you to determine the best, most cost-effective home delivery method possible.

Delivery charges are calculated based on a minimum rate and increase as a percentage of the total order value, so that if you purchase more at one time, you will enjoy delivery savings.



"White Glove" Home Delivery rates:
1. Maine, South Carolina & Florida is $195 or 5% of the total order value

2. New England is $315 or 6% of the total order value

3. East of Mississippi River is $425 or 8% of the total order value.

4. West of Mississippi River is $545 or 10% of the total order value.

5. Alaska, Hawaii, the Caribbean and island locations within the continental U.S. (Martha’s Vineyard, for example) fall into the category of being unusual and extraordinary delivery circumstances, as you can imagine, and will incur additional charges. Call our Customer Service office for further details or an estimate.

Regretfully we do not ship internationally.

Furniture Delivery Time
We make your furniture custom. How long it takes to build and complete a delivery depends on the complexity and size of your order and your location. If you can give us three months, we can fill your house with furniture in most locations within the continental US. For orders that are less-than-a-house-full or when you have a deadline to meet, it is best to call us and speak with a Sales consultant to create an order and delivery plan that best fits your needs.

Accessories Shipping
Accessories and a limited number of our less fragile furniture (ie: Outdoor furniture) pieces ship by a Ground carrier within the continental US. Shipping rates are determined by the order value. Expedited shipping options are available for an additional charge for some items. Orders for fabric yardage ship free via Ground and do incur a $5.00 cutting fee per fabric within an order.

UPS shipping rates are determined by the total Order Value:
Up to $50 $5.00
$50.01 - $100 $15
$100.01 - $200 $20
$200.01 and over 10%
$3,000 and over 8%
$5,000 and over 5%

Expedited shipping options are available for some items for an additional flat charge per order:

Most orders for accessory items ship from within 5 business days. A few items, including fabric yardage, lamps, and some tabletop are shipped directly from our suppliers. This may add a day or two to the delivery time.
