something about Mary
Mary is what we call "modern vintage". Inspiration for this wonderfully eclectic
gal (and the rest of our original rattan designs) came from various sources: the
happy discovery of a funky Art Deco rattan chair in an antique store in Florida,
the visual appeal of simple organic forms, curves and patterns, and the appreciation for
a mid-Century Modern sensibility that enables the use of diverse furnishings to coexist
seamlessly within one living space. Above all, we love the beauty of rattan
in concert with Maine Cottage colors and style.
