A Balancing Act

Dear Maine Cottage Community,

Internally we refer to ourselves as “The Happy Furniture Company”our joyful palette tends to lift the human spirit and we aim to have all customer communication follow suit. In these stressful times, we pledge to do our best to continue to deliver happiness.

Behind the scenes, our proactive efforts start with daily conversations with our employees and partners (builders, painters, suppliers, and shippers) to ensure continuity in our commitment to you, while at the same time being cautious about protecting the safety of our customers and the Maine Cottage team. Here are some changes you might notice:

1. In order to protect the safety of our employees, some Customer Service Representatives and Design Associates may be answering calls from home. Should this cause a delay in response times, we ask for your patience. The best number to reach us for all inquiries remains 866-366-3505 or email customercare@mainecottage.com.

2. We are in close contact with our manufacturing and shipping partners and are working to comply with all hygiene best practices as outlined by the CDC. For some partners, that means adjusting schedules and/or shifts to properly sanitize manufacturing areas, for others it means suspending operations indefinitely. You will notice product-specific messaging on individual product pages with details that could impact the availability of each item.  

3. If you are expecting a delivery and would prefer we hold your order until operations are back to 100% normal, we are happy to do so at no extra charge. Simply send an email to customercare@mainecottage.com ahead of time to coordinate the details. Read the latest information about how worldwide recent events are impacting our shipping methods.
